Youth Rehabilitate Educational Institutions in Baalbeck-Hermel

Within the framework of the project, “Skills for Active Youth”, implemented by the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) and in cooperation with UNICEF, a group of active youth rehabilitated a number of educational institutions in Baalbeck-Hermel, and provided community services to improve and develop them.
The official Jawdat Haidar Secondary School was re-painted, three computers were delivered to the Institute of Al-Abrar in Beit Shama, and the rehabilitation and painting of the official intermediate school in Dier Al Ahmar was completed. In Ersal, the official middle school was renovated and seats were provided. In Hermel, the bathrooms and playground were rehabilitated in the town’s secondary school. Finally, in Maqne, 32 chairs were offered to the public school.
Youth, through these initiatives, have greatly benefited from the skills they acquired through the project, and have put those skills to good use. They are the pioneers of society and are constantly working towards positive change through these various initiatives.
