Baalbeck, September 8th, 2013
With the goal of empowering youth in Baalbeck-Hermel to resolve conflict and act proactively in their local community, LOST War Child Holland have signed a pilot project to train 40 youth from 4 schools in Baalbeck and Hermel on conflict resolution and peace building skills and enable them to utilize the knowledge and skills acquired to act proactively and peacefully in their local communities.
The project will be implemented in Baalbek and Hermel, starting in September 15th 2013 and ending in December 31st 2013 concluding in the establishment of 4 peace clubs in 4 schools in Baalbeck and Hermel thus creating an independent platform for real and constructive dialogue and promoting for a culture of peace within the premises of the schools targeted and in the community at large.
