The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST), in cooperation with “Risha and Nagham” association, set up a musical concert at the historic Baalbeck ruins, in the presence of cultural, artistic, and social figures.
Mr. Salah Zaaiter from LOST delivered a speech, stressing that “the organization works through a developmental vision based on the utilization of natural and archaeological resources in the region of Baalbeck-Hermel, and the use of local capacities and competencies in order to activate and revitalize all sectors, including tourism, which is an integral part of social and economic development”.
“Baalbeck today is a present in an elegant way”, stated Mrs. Nabila Wehbe, president of “Risha and Nagham” association. Mrs. Wehbe explained that “those who grew up in Baalbeck know the importance of this land and the power of tourism in this city, which are the remnants of successive civilizations, in addition to the people of Baalbeck, who contributed to the implementation of this artistic miracle”.
Aside from supporting the annual Baalbeck International Festivals, LOST continues to support the tourism sector through events such as this one, which is an excellent push towards economic and social development in the city of Baalbeck.
