As all good things must eventually come to an end, LOST has lately concluded its “Summer Camps 2014” Project in a closing Ceremony held on Tuesday, the 16th of September 2014 at LOST center in Baalbeck. The project which was generously sponsored By the Embassy of Switzerland, created a safe learning environment for 80 Syrian and Lebanese youth to study English language and CISCO course IT essentials. Furthermore, these youth got to perform fun recreational activities such as Ramadan Iftars, hiking in Yamuni, rafting in Assi and a visit to Baalbeck ruins. The educational part proved very significant as these youth demonstrated great commitment and enthusiasm scoring exceptional test results.
LOST founder and director Dr. Ramy Lakkis launched the ceremony with an address to the participating students. “This is not the end of the line” Dr. Lakkis said, he added” LOST will always be here supporting you and every eager student in Bekaa”. He went on to encourage students to be innovative pioneers, and listen to the little voice in their heads pointing them towards success. The ceremony was concluded by certificate distribution then the participants, trainers and teachers shared a lunch in Baytona restaurant.
