Through raising livestock, the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST), in cooperation with Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) is working to increase the income of the poorest families in Baalbeck-Hermel. Therefore, eighty goats were distributed with their children to eighty Lebanese women from the poorest families in the region.
These women begin the first step in the project to increase the income of their families and improve their living and economic conditions.

Prior to delivery, it was ascertained that vaccines were given to the livestock. Beneficiaries also had training courses on livestock breeding, goat diseases, how to build a shed, communication skills, followed by courses on how to produce, manage, and market production.
