Aiming at improving justice sector services in Lebanon, LOST, through partnership with the World Bank, have started phase two of a capacity building for 100 women in Baalbeck-Hermel region.
While phase one started in the first week of July where 100 participants took 8 sessions in Microsoft Word, Gmail and facebook, they were also introduced to the objectives of the project. As of September 16, LOST will start phase two of the project where each group of 25 will attend eight sessions to increase their knowledge and understanding of Housewives’ Rights in the following topics: marriage, divorce, alimony and inheritance. Each topic will be given in two sessions. it is worth mentioning that participants using the WPE FCB page to exchange ideas about the topics.
