In cooperation with the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) and UNICEF, “Beirut Film Society” (BFS) implemented a preparation and direction course for short films, as part of the “Girls for Change” program.
Over four days, six trainers conducted the training for 20 girls. The goal was the preparation for short films.
The training program was as follows: ideas selection, scenario’s writing, then photography and montage.
During this cycle, the actress “Nada Abou Farhat” was hosted. She talked about her acting experience, the difficulties she faced, and finally presented to the trainees a set of instructions and advice.
One of these training’s objectives was also breaking the stereotype and strengthening women’s capacities.
By the end of these four days, certifications were distributed to the participants.
