Tuesday May 31, the working group and the community activists in Ein conducted the final show for “Ein Got Talent” as part of “Future Together Now” project that the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is running in partnership with Forum ZFD to reduce tension and prejudice between Lebanese host communities and Syrian refugees.
More than 300 people including women, youth, teachers, municipal members and mukhtars attended the show. Six Lebanese and Syrian youth presented their diversified talents. Lebanese and Syrians attendees interacted jubilantly through signing together, laughing, clapping and encouraging the participants. An atmosphere of happiness and excitement was dominant all over the shows.
This event aimed to highlight the talents of the youth from both communities and to find a place where those youth can express themselves freely far from tension and discomfiture.
By the end of the show, LOST distributed medals and memorial shields for the winning participants and the evaluation committee to ingrain the values of social cohesion and innovation in the community.
