The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) organized a charity art event at Tammouz Hall in Baalbeck, which was performed by the artist Jahida Wehbe, in which proceeds will go directly to the Childre Cancer Centre in Lebanon (CCC). The event was attended by the president of LOST, Dr. Ramy Lakkis, the president of the Board of Trustees of the Children Cancer Centre, Dr. César Bassim, and Eng. Hamad Yaghi, a member of the Executive Committee of Baalbeck International Festivals, and other political, social, and cultural figures.
The event started with a video about the humanitarian activities and interventions of the organization to support needy families in Baalbeck, followed by a presentation about the Cancer Centre, and a thank you speech by Dr. Ramy Lakkis for all those who participated in this charity event to support the centre and contribute to the recovery of cancer patients. The president of the Board of Trustees of the Centre, Dr. César Bassim thanked LOST and all those who contributed to the donation to the centre, and he gave a tribute to Dr. Lakkis, the organization, and the artist Jahida Wehbe.

The distinguished poet Jahida sang the hope for children battling cancer, an hour and a half of classical and religious songs, through which she took the audience on an oriental journey, full of excellence, poetry, and magic.
Jahid Wehbe responded to all the positive feedbacks and comments, stating, “a thousand thank you to all of you. It was a night to remember, and I am so happy that we were able to show love and help these children”.
Because we are much stronger than sickness, because they taught us strength, because the will of life is stronger, it is impossible to support these heroes with their battle against the malignant cancer by only slogans. Such a successful initiative made every member of the LOST family dedicated more than ever to serving man and society.
