In partnership with the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) and Catalytic Action, an educational and recreational center for Lebanese and Syrian children was rehabilitated in the town of Bouday, where two parking spaces were converted into a children’s area equipped for indoor and outdoor activities. This initiative was funded by War Child Holland.
The project was implemented by a group of architects and volunteers from Italy, Britain, Poland, Ireland, and Lebanon, with the participation of Lebanese and Syrian children. A team of 26 local women and men, 8 national and international volunteers, transformed the space into a vibrant and stimulating child friendly environment. This initiative was especially important to continue to promote children’s rights, including the right to play and to feel safe.
