The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is implementing a project to support women in the Baalbeck-Hermel region in order to establish a “Women’s Platform to Lead” of about 300 women within the LEAD program, implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The goal of the “Women’s Platform to Lead” is to promote the culture of women’s
participation in political and social life and to support their activities at
the local and national levels by supporting participants to create a platform
for political and social action, and to promote the role of women leaders. This
forum will provide women with access to their local and national communities so
that they can express their visions, the needs of their society, and the
demands of all social groups, and to demonstrate that women have the capacity
to play an active role in society and political life.
Therefore, the women of the forum are launching a competition to choose the
best logo to express the gathering.
The contest conditions are as follows:
- Age between 15 and 30 years
- The logo should be fit for use as a logo for the association “Women’s Platform to Lead” (WPL) and all its publications, including the Official Seal, should submit the original file and deliver the property rights to the forum if selected.
The winning logo will be selected via voting by the women’s pool. The owner of the winning logo will be contacted with a cash prize of 300 USD.
In case of insufficient number of votes, it is possible to extend the time of the contest or replace it with a direct service request.
